CHUANWEI CIGS

Shipping

Shipping is calculated at the cart from the total weight of tobacco. Every tobacco parcel goes out with an adult-signature requirement; coffee ships on its own, unsigned.

Standard tobacco shipping and coffee shipping are separate charges. A cart that mixes them pays both: the tobacco weight band plus $6.50.

Rates

Standard, 7 to 15 business days, charged on the tobacco weight in the cart:

Coffee on its own is $6.50, 3 to 5 business days, unsigned.

Standard tobacco shipping is free on carts over $224.00. Coffee still costs $6.50 if it is in the cart.

Express, 3 to 7 business days: $25.00, tobacco only, and only up to 10 lb of tobacco. It is the faster option when the supplier has the stock; it is not offered once coffee is in the cart.

The 10 lb parcel limit

A single parcel cannot exceed 10 lb of tobacco, which is about 18 cartons. Heavier orders are picked up by the higher weight bands above and travel as a multi-parcel shipment, with a separate adult signature taken for every parcel containing tobacco. Express is not offered above 10 lb for the same reason.

Signature and ID

Federal law requires an adult signature and a government photo ID on delivery for tobacco. If nobody 21 or over can sign, the carrier holds the parcel and retries, then returns it.

Dispatch

Tobacco is parallel-import stock and leaves our supplier in China, so allow 1 to 3 business days for preparation before the crossing. Standard crosses in 7 to 15 business days; Express is 3 to 7 and is capped at 10 lb of tobacco. Customs examination can add time. Coffee leaves New York within one business day.

Tracking

You get a tracking number when each parcel is handed to the carrier. A multi-parcel order can produce several, and they move on their own schedules.
