Wa hill country on the Myanmar border, where coffee is a young crop grown on small plots. Torch built its China base in Yunnan in 2014 and mills this lot on long sealed fermentation rather than a quick patio dry — full bodied, dark chocolate under winy fruit, acidity that opens as the cup cools.
